Are Class‑Action Apps Finding Their Viral Formula?

Claimed is a 4 month old app that helps users verify and claim money from class‑action settlements they may be eligible for.

Only now, in early 2024, the first hits are starting to appear, driven by creator @tessa.brown86.

Her main theme focuses on companies being sued.

Last week, for the first time, her video reached 1.5M views.

The same format was posted four days ago and has already reached 15.5K views.

It might look like luck, but there is a pattern forming.

A creator from Payout: Claim Class Actions, an app we have already covered, posted a video this month with the same hook and got 6.6M views.

This suggests that this could be the emerging hook of the entire category.

Settlemate: Class Actions also has a version of this format, but instead of listing multiple companies, it focuses on a single one and explains why it is being sued.

That video reached 55.3M views, with the hook:

“GMAIL LAWSUIT!! $425 MILLION”

The “companies being sued” angle is evolving into a category‑wide hook, and the numbers show that audiences respond to it at scale.
