MoonX is a lunar‑cycle and astrology app that’s been around since 2019.
Even though it ranks surprisingly high in several countries
- #1 Panama
- #1 Bolivia
- #2 Nigeria
- #3 Angola
- #8 Latvia
- #9 Argentina
It still has just 20K downloads.
While digging into their TikTok presence, we found a linked account.
The posting rhythm is inconsistent. Some months are active, while others go completely quiet.
Even so, a few videos still manage to generate real engagement.
Each post focuses on a single zodiac sign.
“Aries at a party is…” → 615.5K views, 1,545 comments
“Gemini me happy with life” → 463.4K views, 830 comments
But here is the real structural issue, and it becomes obvious when you compare MoonX to Nebula.
MoonX and Nebula are basically playing the same game-> zodiac identity content built to drive comments.
But they’re doing it in completely different ways.
MoonX posts one sign per video-> You get comments, but only from 1/12 of the audience.
Nebula does the opposite.
They put all 12 signs in one slideshow->Every viewer scans to find their sign, every viewer comments.
That is why Nebula can get 5.7M views on a single post, 2,700 comments, and 45.8M total views across four accounts.
And the hook that unlocks everything is love and relationships.
MoonX needs a stronger structure, one that speaks to all twelve signs at once, uses relationship-based hooks, and naturally moves viewers toward the app instead of leaving them in the comments.
