Remember the piece we wrote about apps that grow almost entirely through a single creator? We just found another one trying to follow that exact path.
Stars Align is a dating app that uses astrology and birth charts to match people based on compatibility. The app has existed since 2021 but it has accumulated close to no downloads.
In May 2025, they finally created a TikTok account to change that. And instead of building a creator network, Stars Align is relying on one single creator who, with only two formats, has already generated 31.1M views.
Format 1 — Zodiac couples
Always the same hook, always the same audio.
She pairs signs together and reacts to each couple.
“how I feel about zodiac couples with no explanation” → 4.1M views
Format 2 — Style by sign
A more fashion-forward take. She gives each rising sign its own aesthetic and “magnetic” look.
“How To Become Magnetic Using Your Rising Sign” → 2.9M views
This second format is similar to what Codibook did, an app we have covered before, but Codibook based the outfits on university majors rather than zodiac signs.
“pov: your outfit based on your university major (part 3)” → 2.5M views
Stars Align has reached the stage where the creator is delivering consistently and the formats feel stable. The next step is seeing whether that finally turns into downloads.
