Menace is one of the newest AI editors trying to turn simple edits into formats that actually move on TikTok.
It’s an AI photo and video editor designed to turn everyday footage into creative, viral‑ready visual content for social platforms.
The app is only 4 months old and is already generating $60K in monthly revenue with 30K downloads.
Menace was built by OneClick Commerce LLC, the company behind some of the top editing apps in the space, like CapCut, Remini, and PicsArt.
The app launched on TikTok in September 2025 with just four accounts, yet it has already accumulated 213.9M views.
All the growth comes from ->AI prank videos created directly with the app.
There are two main prank formats:
- The high‑performing format->videos where someone uses the app to stage a fake, realistic‑looking situation and “prank” strangers.
“Ordering 900 cupcakes last minute for…” ->22M views
- The reaction format->creators take a photo, edit it with AI, send it to someone, and film the reaction.
“Pranking my Mexican Dad ICE is here for him 🇲🇽”->4M views
A setup already used by many apps in this category.
Both formats rely on the same trigger: making an edited moment feel real enough to fool someone.
