Inside Kollegio’s 26 Million Views TikTok Strategy

On StudyTok students decide what wins, and apps grow only when they speak the language of the feed.

Kollegio is an AI-powered platform for students applying to university, especially in the U.S. It works pretty much just like a digital college counselor.

The company was founded by Senan Khawaja and Saeed Naeem.

Khawaja, a Stanford graduate, built it after seeing how many students lacked access to high-quality admissions support.

Today, Kollegio serves 300,000+ students across 190+ countries.

In 2024, Kollegio launched a network of TikTok accounts. Activity paused between July and October 2025, but the brand returned strongly at the end of 2025 and has been active since.

Among all accounts, one stands out: @kollegioai, which alone has generated 26.2M views. Like the other accounts, its content is produced by multiple student creators.

“INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS Get into a top university in America using this platform…” → 1.2M views

The account also features several slideshow posts with photos of different universities.

“I asked AI to pick my college list — and here’s what it gave me >>” → 3M views

However, none of these videos are fully organic.

So the strategy focuses less on personality-driven content and more on product-led content created for creators.

But we’ve already seen that student-life creators get more views when they stop promoting the product and lean into the messy, relatable side of college life.
