MeetUs is an app made for pairs, where two friends can connect with other duos to socialise, go out, and plan activities together.
It launched in 2024, but the founders have been on TikTok since 2022, posting their life as a couple and making light comedic sketches.
Their personal TikTok is full of couple humor, small sketches, and day‑to‑day moments.
On the official MeetUs account, the creators are also the founders.

We’ve seen this pattern before, and we’ve also seen the opposite deliver great results.
Take Shayna, the solo founder who built a dating app from her Georgetown dorm.
Her TikTok strategy is brutally simple: she shows her face, talks directly to the camera, and says, “Hey, I’m Shayna… this is my app.” One video hit 1M views. Her app climbed 155 spots on the App Store. She onboarded 18K users in a month.
MeetUs has founders who are present, but not in a typical founder role, they show up as entertainers.
