An all-in-one Apple Watch health tracker from China is now starting to push into the U.S.
OtterLife launched in February 2024 and already sits around the Top 50 in Health & Fitness in China. It’s not an early-stage app anymore. Last month, it made $70K MRR and 80K downloads.
What makes it interesting now is the expansion layer. OtterLife has started testing a TikTok-led English UGC wave, trying to translate an already proven product into a Western content playbook.
Most of the creator accounts seem to have started posting in February 2026. A lot of them have already gone inactive, which makes it look like a short A/B testing phase. But one creator is still active, and she’s also the one who found the first clear winner.
@maisieotter, just like most of the other creators, is focusing on shocked reactions + “Apple Watch” hooks.

The video shows a quick shocked reaction selfie clip with a hand gesture to pull viewers in, then a fast Apple Watch demo. Around 3 seconds of face, 3 seconds of product.
So far, this is the only real breakout from the English wave. But that’s already enough to show the direction: an established Chinese app, a Western-facing UGC test, and one early signal that the Apple Watch angle can grow.
