Most AI apps follow the same growth playbook: they hire creators, build a creator network, flood TikTok with content.
Articulate, a two‑month‑old AI communication‑training app, is trying something else and honestly, it might be the smarter move.
Instead of building a creator network from scratch, Articulate began by shaping a very specific narrative on its official TikTok account.
The entire content strategy is aimed at men who want to communicate better with women confidence, clarity, flirting, expressing thoughts, all wrapped into one promise:
“If you can speak well, you can win her over.”
To deliver this, the app is testing three formats:
Street interviews
Girls interview guys and ask:
“What attracts you most in a girl?”
Two outcomes always happen:
- The guy freezes and can’t articulate anything → perfect moment to introduce the app.
- Or he answers: “Someone who knows how to communicate her thoughts.” → again, perfect moment to introduce the app.
Male celebrity slideshow
A carousel of male celebrities, each slide highlighting:
- what they achieved
- and how communication played a role in that achievement
Close‑ups with advice
Creators (possibly the founders) appear in tight close‑ups giving advice:
Yes, it’s a shortcut.
Then, instead of recruiting dozens of small creators, they made a single bigger move and partnered with @samm.zia, an influencer with 1M+ views.
So far he has already posted at least four pieces of content promoting Articulate. He looks into the camera and says the “secret” to talking to women is using the app.
A hater commented: “I’m not downloading this.”
Instead of ignoring it, Samm turned it into a video, giving the app even more visibility a classic creator power move.
Even though the sponsored videos don’t have huge views yet, Samm’s account does. It might not be replicable unless they have a huge available budget, but it’s paid off so far.
