45 Days Old & One Video Hits 15M Views

Another wake-up app launched 45 days ago and is already finding reach by turning broken iPhone alarms into the hook.

Noozr is a wake-up app built to stop snoozing. The alarm does not stop until you complete a task.

The app itself is still small, sitting at under 5K downloads and MRR.

But their creator network is moving much faster than the product.

Most of their accounts launched within a few days of each other end of February. The usernames follow the same naming pattern [name].wakeup, and a similar bio mention to the app.

The biggest hits are clearly happening on TikTok.

Instead of opening with the app, the content opens like a complaint post about Apple alarms not working. That makes Apple the villain and lets Noozr come in as the alternative.

Their best performing account @quinnwakingup posted a couple of hits:

“Apple WHAT my phone NEVER rung & I MISSED MY FLIGHT! How do yall deal with this?!” → 15M views

The same account also hit 4.4M views with: “Day 8 of asking Apple to fix the alarm app“.

Missing a flight is a much stronger hook than “here’s an alarm app I use.”

They’ve also been testing the format built around the task-to-dismiss feature, where users have to do something annoying to shut the alarm off. A hook we know has been already working well for apps like Erly.
