An AI car customizer hit 10,000 downloads and $10,000 in MRR last month by running faceless car-wrap storylines across 7 accounts, with two repeatable formats doing most of the work.
The app lets users simulate different wraps, paint, and style changes on cars. It was launched 9 months ago and it’s now sitting at #91 in Graphics and Design category.
The distribution is intentionally faceless and multi-account. They’ve run 7 accounts total, and 3 of them have broken past 1M+ views. In total they’ve driven ~20M views, with a meaningful chunk still coming from paid distribution.
It all comes down to two repeatable story formats: wrap reveals and dream-car pranks.
On May 15, 2025, they pushed their biggest hit with a wrapping hook: “Wrapping the Stradman’s Nissan GTR.”
Stradman is a major car creator, so the name does a lot of the initial pull.
The second format is the dream car prank.
“Pranking my buddy by finding his dream car” hit ~1.6M on Instagram and ~800K on TikTok.
It’s framed as a friend prank, but it’s a demo in disguise. They name the buddy’s dream car, simulate the build in-app, then hold the reveal for the reaction.
