Widgetable has been around since 2022 as the OGs of the “bestie & couple widgets” app. It’s well-established and yet, they have just launched a fresh wave of UGC creator accounts on TikTok.
After months of relying on faceless content from its main account, the app recently launched 10 new UGC creator accounts last month, on top of the 6 active ones that have been running since January.
@widgetable started in 2022 and reached 194 M views.
What’s interesting now, is the new waves of creators that pulled 2.4 million views in the last 30 days.
The format : close-up confession → in-app widget → home screen shot with Widget installed.
It’s simple, repeatable, and instantly recognizable.

“pov: u and ur bestie are so close u share a poop count”
330.9K views
“me vs my boyfriend’s 💩 count 💀”

“POV: you and your bf are so comfortable you have a fart tracker 💨”
This video is the only one where the app name isn’t showed or mentioned and it shows in the comments.
This is a good strategy to drive comments and spark curiosity.

Personal confessions also drives comments where people share their opinions and personal experiences.
They’re showcasing both sides of the app’s identity:
- the bestie side (tracking funny, random daily habits together) and
- the couple side (staying connected through shared widgets and mini-games).
Each creator subtly highlights a different feature.
This wave of UGC accounts isn’t just about downloads, it’s about reviving relatability and staying visible on Gen Z’s FYP.
