The Trend Radar: 25M Views

New year, new me. Or at least, that’s what’s showing up all over our FYP.

It’s January, which means TikTok and Reels are packed with resolutions, drastic glow-up plans, and even some surprisingly dark confessions.

That’s where we come in—to help you break down the trends, go viral, and boost your app straight to the top of the charts.

Welcome to the first edition of The Trend Radar: Week 1 of 2026.

  1. The 2026 Rebrand

Before the glow-up comes the planning spiral.

Creators are turning their reset mission into a full-time job. And, of course, letting us all in on the behind-the-scenes.

Think Pinterest boards, ChatGPT prompts, planners, and chaotic “2am I’m fixing my life” energy.

One example pulled 5.4M views “How serious i’m taking this 2026 rebrand”.

It’s a perfect format for a sneaky app name drop.

Check all examples here.

2) Start 2025 vs End 2025

No glow-up season would be complete without some hardcore proof.

Naturally, people are rushing to show off their biggest accomplishments all over TikTok, with special highlight to physical transformations.

One hook, two pictures is all you need. Then just let the contrast do the work.

One of these videos hit 6.3M views, coming from a creator that had less than 5,000 followers at the time she posted:

“Start 2025 / End 2025 / two different people.”

More examples here.

3) Things I Regret in 2025

Every ‘new me’ era comes with a confession scene, and this one is all about laying down your deepest regrets.

Or, of course, you can just put a funny spin on it. Up to you.

Loop one clip and drop a regret list that’s somewhere between serious and ridiculous.

Just like this creator did in a video that passed 1M views → “My 2025 regrets: nothing. I’m an icon and I literally did my best”

Or this one, who pulled 781.2k views with a slightly more detailed breakdown:

“Things I regret: bleaching my hair, buying a van that broke down the day I got it, trusting boys to borrow my car, not learning Spanish as a kid, literally nothing else because it’s all for the plot”.

Last one did 458.8k views with “Things I regret this year: halloweekend actions, double texting, being icked out by all men, my winter fits, caring too much”.

People just love to read confessions and comment… Read them all here.

4) 2025 Achievement Cake
Once the reflections period hits, people want a way to celebrate the wins.

This time, people went as far as making a cake for their 2025 achievements. Yes, an actual cake.

Each flag represents a win.

It’s super easy to recreate, even if you’ve never baked before. And it’s still pulling in millions of views…

4.5M views → “2025 achievements 🤍”

Have fun looking into all the viral videos.

5) Entering 2026 with a Song

And finally, every new era needs a soundtrack and this one is the easiest wrapper.

From “my exit song for 2025” to “my 2026 entry song”, creators are picking a theme song to leave 2025 behind and one to enter the “new” season.

You’ve still got a few days, but you better hurry for this one.

Two faceless formats pulled 3.9M views and 2.7M views respectively.

Exit song: 3.9M views.

Entry song: 2.7M views.

Your turn to hop on these while they’re still hot.
