Recently, we found a new account, @charlottereadseverything, testing a fresh format that’s already generated some pretty solid traction.
She opens every video pretending to read, then suddenly switches into a theatrical interpretation of an audio/music.
“can I see your phone” → 5.7M views
“reading must be so peaceful for you” / me while reading: → 1.6M views
And if this feels familiar, it is because it hits the same over the top emotion that once made the “why is English so hard?” crying creature format blow up.
Different niche, same idea.
People just can’t turn away from a little drama.
