Yoru Studios is a romance-first webnovel app where stories drop in chapters and you can read or listen as you go. Think Wattpad for romance and fantasy, but with audio built in.
It was previously struggling to pull downloads, but in the last few days it’s crept into the Top 100 Books charts in the U.S. and a few European countries after a TikTok-led UGC push from just two ambassadors.
Three days ago, @darcy.yoru used a “this feels illegal” curiosity hook:
“When I get accused of leaking an illegal website but it’s actually completely legal to use and download [it’s Yoru]”
Despite only ~200K views, this video hit an 18% engagement rate and pulled 12K bookmarks, so people clearly saved it to try later.
Simple format: cover-mouth laugh, side-eye, quick site demo, no extra context.
