Launched in 2023, Party Lab: Exposed Game quickly turned into one of the go-to social games for making parties and hangouts with friends more fun.
The app has been around for some time, but it’s just now starting to go big on TikTok. With 16 accounts already, it’s pulled in 12,7M views so far.
The accounts all follow a similar format: a headshot video, sometimes at a party, sometimes not, with a hook written at the top of the screen.
Still, the engagement rate is pretty low. Videos do a bit better when the hook is in Spanish, but even then, the numbers stay low.
But one video really stood out, hitting 5.2 million views.
It was a simple slideshow with two slides, and each one had a hook in Spanish. Here’s the hook used in that video:
“la app perfecta para jugar cuando estén aburridos”, meaning “the perfect app to play when they’re bored”.
The same creator posted the exact same video but changed the hooks, and the results were totally different.
The hook of this video is:
“se la pasan en el cel jugando ese juego” // “El juego”
“they spend all their time on their phone playing that game” // “The game”
It’s the hook that makes the difference, not the video format. The first one points to a solution, while the second one pushes for action.
