POV is a digital disposable camera for events.
You create a link, guests join instantly, and everyone gets can take 10 photos so you get a full “everyone’s perspective” recap.
The app was released back in 2022 it’s currently estimated at ~40K downloads and ~$70K in monthly revenue.
Over the past month, they racked up 14.2M views, thanks just a couple of clips that exploded.
They basically turned one feature into a storyline:
Guest take the photos → wait for the reveal → show the gallery.
Except in reality there’s a 10 photo limit, and then you hit the paywall.
“172 people at the wedding and I gave everyone a camera” -> 6.7M views
“each wedding guest took 10 photos waited 24 hours for the reveal.” -> 5M views
