Yesterday we took a closer look at Innie, the mental health & AI therapy app, and saw something interesting: one post stood out with 935 comments because it didn’t give advice, It showed a transformation instead.
A shift from “I feel terrible” to “I feel better”, with the app strategically positioned as the bridge.
Today, we found something even more interesting.
A completely different category is using the exact same hook.
FriendOS is a private social network built around close friendships and everyday moments.
They work with the same creator and use the same transformation hook that worked for Innie.
And the results are identical… a massive flood of comments.
“baddie to baddie, what’s something that’s made your mental health go from ‘i hate my life’ to ‘i can’t wait for tomorrow’?? i don’t mean taking a walk outside or journaling but something actually UNHINGED. mine is downloading friendOS, ur welcome <3” → 416.9K views, 3,118 comments
