Wingmate started with an initial set of creator–UGC accounts under the naming “@<name>.social” back in April.
In the last two months, they launched a new wave of 7 UGC accounts all under the same name tag: “@<name>.wingmate.
And we noticed one format pulling ahead of everything else:
Faceless “swipe to date my friends” slideshows.
Instead of showing the app, they show the friend you could date. It’s not “here’s Wingmate” it’s “here’s a person you actually want to meet.”
Their early slideshow tests alone have already pulled 800K+ views across 5 posts before they’ve even scaled the format.
