A photo-dump app launched in 2019 just got a second life, because one ambassador repeated the same selfie-first Pinterest hooks until it drove 6K downloads.
MoodStream is a photo-dump / visual diary app that turns a camera roll into ongoing “streams” people can post and share with friends.
The app only started pushing ambassador distribution around November 2025. They run 10 accounts, but it was mostly one creator who contributed the majority of reach:
@starryscrapbook, who found traction on both Instagram and TikTok.
Her formula is a consistent “girlie” aesthetic: bedroom selfies with shocked expressions and the signature “sipping” pose.
She pairs them with Pinterest-related hooks that frame MoodStream as a prettier place to post what you don’t put on Instagram.
On December 4, 2025, she hit 938K views on Instagram and 292K views on TikTok with:
“i deleted pinterest and instagram for this app >>>“
And on December 19, 2025, 251K views on Instagram and 195K views on TikTok with another “pinterest” hook:
“pinterest made a new camera app???“
And on Jan 18, 2026, she reached 152K views on Instagram with an IG-native “anti-IG” hook:
“i stopped posting on instagram after i found this >>>“
MoodStream’s comeback came down to one creator packaging the app as a Pinterest-coded photo-dump.
