When an app does not have a strong UI, it becomes hard to create engaging demo content. In those cases, creators usually rely on two formats: wall of text or talking head videos.
That is exactly what happened here. They leaned into the wall of text format, and their most viral video reached 1.1 million views.
But if you look closely, the video does not clearly promote the app, and even the comments do not push it further. What is more interesting is how they built the script. It is almost word for word from another influencer’s viral video from five months earlier.
This can actually be a smart way to get started. You can model the narratives of viral videos in your niche, whether they are wall of text or talking head formats, and reference what has already worked.
Later on, they improved conversions by adding the app name directly into the hook.
