Cerca has been pushing a UGC format that’s perfect for dating app and is dead simple to replicate.
Creators post a normal clip, then overlay a checklist titled “My application to be your boyfriend.”
This month, they pulled 5M views with 10 accounts posting at least once a week.
One creator, @ben.ekedahl, started posting 2 months ago and he’s started seeing traction with one format he’s been repeating over and over on both TikTok and Instagram. He’s currently at:
What’s interesting is that the CTA is easily built in, with a clean conversion line in two places:
- On-screen: “Only on Cerca.”
- Caption: “Link to apply in my bio.”
Recent examples include 637K views on TikTok. The same video also hit 500K views on Instagram.

Choose one clip to keep on loop (walking outside, driving, room clip, coffee-making).
The retention comes from reading the list.
- Title: “My application to be your boyfriend”
- Name + age (+ height sometimes)
- 3-4 “green flag” bullets
