Motion’s TikTok Playbook: Burnout, Faceless Income, 1M Views

Motion had been quietly running as a scheduling assistant since 2019, but its big breakthrough came in 2025.

When it launched on TikTok, it skipped the usual productivity tips and tapped straight into the new Gen Z most aspirational trend: financial freedom and burnout relief.

Most of their videos start off with the same hook.

They reference a “faceless Pinterest page” to sell the idea of easy, anonymous income and frame regular jobs as a waste of potential.

“when you realize that making 10k a month isn’t actually hard, all you have to do is make $330 a day by running an automated Pinterest page using AI employees from Motion. no face, no hard work. and it’s literally so simple to get started 🗣️🗣️” → 595.5K views

Another strong hook targets corporate girls directly.

“8‑5 corporate girlies… what time are we going to bed? what time are we waking up? how are we keeping up???” → 620.3K views

This clip got 1,428 comments just from women working corporate jobs.

They also tested a different format.

A scripted skit pretending to be a “meeting with my boss.”

This was their top performer at 1.1M views (not 100% organic)
