Christmas is peak season for a wishlist app. It turns everyone into a last-minute shopper, a gift strategist, and a full-time job.
This time around, GoWish turned that feeling into content.
In the last month, GoWish pulled 14M views across 50 creator accounts by locking into one seasonal behavior: gift planning feels like a job.
You can recognise their English accounts by the usernames (ex: maddie.wishes_, cecilia.wishes, taylor.wishes, savy.wishes).

We covered the breakout in October, when tt@maddie.wishes_ went crazy viral with one POV format: cozy bed / laptop / low-energy grind and the “work” is shopping, planning gifts, and building the wishlist.
What’s interesting now is the views are still growing.
48.7M views in October → 59.6M views now
“when my boyfriend calls mid day but I’m still in bed making my Christmas wishlist”
29.5M views in October → 32M views now
“pls don’t be out cheating on me”
They also reposted cross-platform: the same video hit 3.1M views on Instagram with a different hook:
“Me suddenly thinking I’m a billionaire when it comes to buying my boyfriend Christmas presents.”
And the newer versions are still printing: 618.8K views on recent posts.
But on top of their English accounts, they’re also running Scandinavian localized pages (their best-performing accounts):
- onskeskyendk → 12.1M total views
- gowish.se → 20M total views
- onskeskyen_no → 18.7M total views
GoWish also ran a Christmas Advent-style giveaway series on their Scandinavian page.
One post per day, same visual template (Christmas tree background, creator talking to camera, holding a product/prize), and the recurring headline (“Today’s giveaway/contest”) + the date.
