A new AI audio companion for readers is climbing the charts with a single founder-led TikTok account.
BookScape turns reading into a more immersive experience by adding ambient music and subtle effects that match the book you’re reading.
Launched about a month and a half ago, it’s already sitting in the Top 100 in Books across a big part of North America, South America, and Europe.
Most of that momentum comes from one founder account.
Jonathan, the founder, started building attention while the app was still in beta. On Dec 27, 2025, he posted a video around the beta opening, showing 12 popular books that already had custom soundscapes inside the app and calling on readers to try it if they were reading one of them.
That video hit 350K views and 11K bookmarks.
Now he’s seeing a second spike.
On Feb 22, 2026, he posted another founder-led video and hit 150K views and 3.2K bookmarks with:
“I’m building an app that plays soundscapes for the book you’re reading”
The playbook is simple and working: founder intro, app intro, quick demo.
