AI editor apps don’t need complicated demos anymore. At this point, they can just copy whatever already works on TikTok and the views will follow.
Photogeniq’s been around since Dec 2024, but it looks like they only really found their TikTok format recently.
In the last few months they’ve started playing the game that’s printing for AI editor apps right now: AI pranks.
They’re now sitting at 62.6M total views, and a big chunk of that momentum is new with 22.3M views in the last month.
It’s all coming from a small creator network (8 accounts) running a few repeatable prank formats.
One format has been working particularly well for them: the fake tattoo prank.
Their best performing account, tt@valu.mr, with 10.8k followers and 24.2M lifetime views has been pushing this format, and it worked:

They also jumped on the trending format that we’ve seen before:
“Pranking my sister that I dropped her pet hamster (She stole my AirPods)”
