Date First, See Later

Made popular by the account @streethearts, this format is a social blind date experiment where looks don’t come into play until the very end.

The interviewer creates a quirky date setup right in the middle of the street, table and all.

Two strangers are asked to sit down across from each other.

Both people wear blindfolds for most of the date, so they have no idea what the person sitting across from them looks like.

The interviewer sits in the middle and asks both people questions, helping guide the conversation and build a connection.

After spending some time talking and connecting with the blindfolds on, they’re asked to take them off.

Once they see each other, they have to decide right away if they want a second date, based on the connection they felt and their first look.
