Black Friday TikTok Finest Marketing

We love Black Friday because TikTok turns into a wild mix of the weirdest products pushed by every hustler online.

And out of all that chaos come some of the funniest and honestly sometimes some of the smartest strategies.

Let’s start with the now classic pan frying opening. Usually the item is hidden under the pan but here the twist is that the item is the blanket itself.

This video pulled 38.3 million views with 225,000 bookmarks and 650,000 shares. The shareability is just insane.

It’s the perfect target to anyone watching TikTok at night under their blanket thinking they can share to their cosy Netflix friend also hiding under a blanket.

Another account, another blanket, this time ending with the cat version. A perfect gift for the cat-aholic friend. (lol).

Enough blankets. Let’s switch to more cute tech(y) products.

Stick with us because after this we will jump into the truly weird e-commerce items. You are not ready.

But before, this kids’ phone is doing incredibly well and brands keep repeating the same format again and again. One simple format they can just repeat again and again and printing views. And honestly, this is the pattern for most e-commerce hits right now.

Then there is the cute geeky projector. Quick cuts, a warm background setup and a clean aesthetic drove it to 2.3 million views.

Now before the real fun part, here is the most viral product I have seen this Black Friday season.

This video did 42.5 million views and another one from the same account hit 18.5 million. All organic. Fourteen thousand comments and one million shares.

This belongs in some tiktok-e-com hall of fame. And it is clearly a product they can revive every year with the same hook.

Search “you’re always in your room” on TikTok and you will see tons of similar videos doing big numbers.

To wrap up this section, the couple keys makes a comeback. We saw another shop selling it before. It is a one shot video you can batch record and repost everywhere.

Alright, here comes the one I find the most cringe product of the whole list and it also uses the pan opening. It is a car carpet with your partner’s name on it.

This one is weird but weird in the exact way TikTok loves. It did 55 million views. Half of it seems paid but the idea still brought millions of organic views.

The air drum kit is probably the only truly “legit” product here. The account has been posting for a while. The same video did 22 million views last year on this date and 12 million this year.

Then there is the 3D printed family figurine that you pull out of jelly. Gross but worth mentioning. One million views. The account did 3.3 million views across 30 videos.

Next one is actually pretty cool. We might buy it for the team. It is a drifting tablet with cars drifting around. Nice “servant” gift style intro and a great slow zoom edit.

And here comes the one that took a moment to understand. You might want to bleach this from your memory after watching. It still did 3.9 million views. And yes, he is taking a leak in POV.

If you made it this far then you have seen the best accounts we found in the two weeks before Black Friday.

All bangers, mostly organic and mostly selling products we would not personally recommend for quality.

But we have to respect the creativity, the grind and the formats. They would make any app promoter raise an eyebrow, and often get some ideas.
