Spiritual apps often struggle to find a native TikTok format.
But Quill, at two months old, is already experimenting with a small creator network to see what resonates.
The app uses AI to create personalized devotionals, organize notes, record sermons, and help users deepen their Scripture study.
It’s early in its lifecycle, but it has already started building a presence on TikTok.
We found four TikTok accounts, all testing similar formats: close‑up videos where creators either read the verse of the day or explain basic Bible‑study methods.
“My daily verse had NO business calling me out like it did.” → 2,003 views
“The S.O.A.P Method For Bible Study Beginners 🧼📚✝️” → 2,967 views
These videos are consistent, but they’re not the ones generating traction.
One creator posted a video that reached 308.3K views, marking the first real sign of engagement.
A close‑up hook asking a provocative question that both Christians and curious viewers would stop to consider, followed by the app itself providing the answer.
“CHRISTIANS: is drinking alcohol a sin or just getting drunk?”
This approach blends:
- a controversial or culturally relevant question
- a clear problem (uncertainty about doctrine)
- a tool that provides the answer
