Magnetic launched on April 16 as an AI coach for improving communication skills.
Users record a 60-second speaking challenge, then receive AI scores for clarity, confidence, pace, presence, and charisma.
Since launch, founder Jack Mitchell has been testing different hooks around the same promise: becoming more articulate, speaking confidently, and communicating better.
His biggest video opens with “How can I become disgustingly well spoken?” It reached 197K views and 4.3K saves.
Another, “25 years of being shy and now I find this” added 112K views and 4.4K saves.
None of the videos reached millions, but both generated more than 4,000 saves, an unusually strong save rate for videos of that size.
Each video follows almost the same structure: a surprised selfie hook followed by a quick demo showing how Magnetic analyzes a speaking challenge.
Every video ends with the same CTA: comment “magnetic” for the app link.
Over the past month, four Instagram videos have crossed 100K views, while nearly every recent upload has passed 50K.
The overall format stays consistent, with Jack simply swapping the opening hook to test different ways of framing the same promise.
