Canopy is a Dynamic Island app for Mac. Meteor is a lock screen notes app for iPhone.
One changes the MacBook screen. The other changes the iPhone lock screen.
But both are doing views using the same format: showing a familiar UI with faceless videos and curiosity hooks.
They make the feature feel like a hidden trick people should already know.
Canopy only started posting five days ago on Tiktok, but it is already at 1.2M views. The content is faceless, repetitive, and built around making the Mac screen feel alive.
Its biggest hook so far is:
“pov the first app u get on ur new mac” → 621.4K views
Meteor is using the same faceless setup on iPhone, but with a different hook layer. It started posting in March and is already at 6.7M views.
Its best hooks lean much harder into hidden-feature curiosity:
They both rely on the same base mechanic: show a device people recognize immediately, add one visible change, and package it with a hook that creates instant curiosity.
