New Expense Tracker Just Found Its First Outlier

A newly launched expense tracker is starting to show early signs of traction with founder-led content.

Costify, released on January 30, 2026, is a simple app for tracking, splitting, and managing expenses on your phone.

The app was created by Marlon Pitters, who also handles distribution himself across TikTok and Instagram, posting in both English and German.

According to his TikTok bio, he is a “design-obsessed iOS dev, trying to build the best expense tracker ever”.

So far, most of the content has stayed in low-view territory.

But a recent video suggests he may have found his first promising format.

On March 31, 2026, he hit 215K views and 1.5K bookmarks with:

“The system I use to track my money”

The video is fully faceless and works as a clean product demo. It opens with a real payment moment, then immediately shows the app recognizing the expense, categorizing it, and tracking it through an automatic pop-up.

This format has also been used by TapSheet, another budgeting app growing quickly.

For an expense tracker, that is likely the right direction.
