Hallow Starts to Sing

Hallow: Prayer & Meditation just added five new accounts and is now testing new formats that you cannot find in any other Catholic app.

Instead of the usual “influencer talking to the camera about faith” style used by apps like Follow Jesus, Hallow chose a different approach.

They are now sharing clips of real priests speaking during Mass, something that is surprisingly rare in this niche. If you grew up in a Catholic country, it will remind you of when your grandparents used to watch Mass on TV.

2.8M views

We also found another account in their network where the creator films herself inside the church.

“POV: you’re Catholic (pt. 4)” → 1.3M views

“You Are Mine” → 1.7M views

This last video gained momentum through the singing. We have seen the same effect in the trend we covered, “I Might Quit My Job”. The moment someone sings, the algorithm pushes the video.

Another example is @zahranicholson. She had never passed 60K views. Then she joined the trend, sang a few lines, and suddenly reached:

  • 9.3M views

Singing consistently expands reach, and Hallow is the first Catholic app to use this at scale. The proof is clear: these singing-based videos have the highest view counts in the entire network so far.
