Retain is now at 142 tracked accounts, with a fresh wave of more than 15 accounts that started posting within the last two months.
Their network keeps expanding with 6.6M views in the last 30 days and German accounts are still leading.
Across the full network, German accounts have 23.5M views across 1,455 videos. English has 12.6M views across 858 videos. French has 9.7M views across 477 videos.
The main format they are pushing right now are face-talking videos.
A creator looks straight into the camera, delivers a study shortcut or pain point, it’s native to student TikTok and creator-led content which feels more organic.
The app is usually introduced later on as a tool to improve.
One recent example from @franci.studytips did 272.3k views with the hook “How to: In 30 min für Klausur lernen” –> “How to study for an exam in 30 minutes”

German hook was the biggest hit with 4.5M views and 3.4M.
English scaled with “POV: you figured out why everyone’s deleting…” to 4.2M and 2.1M.
French pushed the same face-led style to 2.3M and 1.4M.
