Lately, we’ve been noticing a surge in “save recipes” apps.
GoomY is one of them, growing on French TikTok. At 5 months old, it is now at 20K downloads, and working with a network of 30 creators.
They started posting in October 2025, but only became consistently in 2026.
Their strongest angle so far is tying the app to TikTok updates, and that hook clearly pulls in views.
Two videos using that idea hit 1.9M and 1M views.
“Mdr c’est donc ça la nouvelle mise à jour tiktok ?” → 1.9M views
(translates to) “Lmao, so this is the new TikTok update?”
“Donc après 32 ans d’existence sur terre je découvre ça avec tiktok ?” → 1M views
(translates to) “So after 32 years of existence on earth I find this out through TikTok?”
These videos are not fully organic though.
And despite trying to push the same format further with slight tweaks, it doesn’t seem to be taking off.
