Couples App Hits 42M Views by Copying a Proven Faceless Format

An all-in-one couples widget app is growing fast, and the main playbook is almost a direct copy of a format that already worked in the category.

Lovio launched about 10 months ago and was sitting at 10,000 downloads in January 2026. In February, it’s already around 30K downloads.

They’ve generated 42.8M views across just four accounts, two on Instagram and two on TikTok.

Most of that virality came from one faceless format that looks almost identical to the one that previously drove Lovelee’s growth: the two-phones lock-screen setup.

Their top performer hit 6M views on Instagram on Jan 17, 2026.

The format is almost the same each time: two lock screens, a message sent on one phone, the same message appearing on the other, then the app logo at the end. Same structure, same pacing, same payoff, just a different app.

The only real shift recently is the hook writing. They kept the exact same faceless setup, but started using more specific relationship scenarios, which also helped them break out on TikTok, not just Instagram.

One example from Feb 18, 2026:

We argued last night and I woke up to this → 2.2M views and 13K bookmarks.

They scaled fast by reusing a proven format and tightening the hooks over time.

If you want the original version of this playbook, the Lovelee breakdown is the best side-by-side reference. Same format, same pacing, different app.
