An AI shopping assistant is starting to dominate Indian Instagram with a small but effective creator wave.
Zave is built to help users save money and time while shopping. It launched in 2024, but the real breakout only started in the past month.
They’re running an Instagram-only playbook, and the India angle is the whole story.
The main page has gone viral, and so have three ambassadors. What makes it more interesting is how early these creators are, most of them only have around 10 posts, but they started pulling views almost immediately.
The format is simple and repeatable: shocked reaction first, then app demo.
The main page, @zave.app, has already gone viral more than once by reposting ambassador clips and framing the app with simple “saving hack” hooks.
One example: Saved 5000/- this month using this hack hit 1.4M views and 18K comments.
The ambassadors use the same structure, but with more local and specific hooks. That’s where the content gets stronger.
The biggest hit so far came from @roshniwithai on Feb 19, 2026 with a Zomato-led hook:
Wait who hurt Zomato? → 2.6M views
That works because it instantly anchors the app to a brand people in India already use. It doesn’t feel like a generic “save money” app anymore. It feels like a hack for the exact apps and purchases people already make.
That’s the playbook here: Instagram-first, local references, simple reaction-to-demo structure, and creator hooks that make the savings feel specific instead of abstract.
India is a huge market, and with English hooks, they can reach scale fast without needing a huge content machine.
