It is possible for a single creator to drive massive views and meaningful downloads.
Soundscape proved it. One creator, 18 million views, 40,000 downloads.
In our first Skye piece, we explained how the app went viral with one faceless account and one winning format. Now, it has its first on camera creator attempting to recreate that same one creator breakout success that Soundscape achieved.
But the results were different.
@manifestwithaanya is the app’s only creator, and most of her videos aren’t fully organic.
“me once i realized i can literally manifest ANYTHING”->495.5K views
Still, she had two spikes.
Using a manifesting audio, she hit 937.2K views with a 15.3% ER.
“Someone combined all the all manifestation sounds. I’m not risking it”->937.2K views, 2301 comments
The same audio reused later delivered an even higher 21.5% ER
“When he’s acting distant but he doesn’t know I know a hack (I’m gonna manifest him)”->233.7K views, 625 comments
But two videos aren’t enough to move downloads at scale.
If Skye wants to rely on one creator, they will need to turn those spikes into a consistent, scalable format they can repeat and scale.
