He Switched Camera & Hit 1 Million Views Twice

HomeGen AI is an interior design app that lets you upload a room photo, pick a style, and generate a makeover in seconds.

The app launched in September 2024, but the socials didn’t really catch. They ran faceless posts on Instagram and TikTok, and the viewership stayed low.

Until recently, their best-performing clip was a faceless slideshow from October 2024 at around 100K views.

Then February 2026 changed everything.

After months of low activity, the Instagram page started posting daily again, this time with what looks like the founder on camera. The new format is simple: shocked-face reaction first, quick “is this real?” hook, then the app reveal.

On February 7, 2026, Am I late or is this new??? hit 1.2M views.

Three days later, when did this come out??? cleared 1M+ again.

No polish needed, just a repeatable reaction wrapper that makes the app feel like an amazing discovery.

And it translated into results. In the last two weeks, they went from under 5K to 8K downloads.

Sometimes the only thing missing is a face and a simple reaction hook.
