An app that records driving trips and speed is climbing fast.
Released about one month ago, Speed Tracker is already at 60K downloads and $20K MRR.
They’re running this with a faceless network of 13 accounts, and the whole story fits inside a surprisingly small view count: ~3.2M total views so far. What matters is how concentrated that reach was.
Around 90% of the views came in a single day, when the exact same slideshow popped off three different times across three accounts. The title is the hook: How me and bro feel when we drive together.
The actual slideshow is quite simple. The cover shows two airships that look like they’re moving ridiculously fast, which instantly sells the feeling.
Then the final slide lands the prompt: two high-end cars labeled bro and me, with a Speed Tracker app screenshot above them comparing speeds.
It’s basically a friend competition packaged as a shareable joke.
That’s why it converts. It’s not really selling trip tracking. It’s selling a moment you want to recreate with a friend. The comments reflect that too, with people asking for the app name, and the slideshow pulling an unusually high ~15% engagement rate.
