How a Lock-Screen Qur’an Widget Hit #5 in France

Noorly is a daily Qur’an app built around a lock-screen widget.

It launched two months ago, hit ~9K downloads last month, and briefly climbed to #5 in the “References” category in France (and Belgium).

Noorly’s network generated ~3.3M views, with creator @salwa.nrl as the most-viewed one.

That account posts around 4 faceless slideshow videos per day using the same structure: an aesthetic “hijab girl” cover image paired with a faith-related hook, followed by slides that pivot directly into app demos.

The main page, @noorly_app, relies on a familiar interruption pattern: an anti-doomscroll “STOP” hook that cuts the feed, followed by an immediate app demo, ending with the widget payoff.

@salwa.nrl supplies the volume (4/day slideshow factory).

@noorly_app supplies the conversion loop (STOP → demo → widget proof).
