The 2.6M Views Dead-End

After one year on the market, MinuteWise, a(nother) study app, is now managing a network of 28 faceless accounts.

The app uses mainly two content formats, yet neither of them was managing to generate any solid traction.

#1 — List‑style slideshows

#2 — Comic‑style slideshows

A comic‑strip format positioning the app as the “master tip.”

“Imagine spending hours taking notes… and realizing you only needed 10 minutes of the lecture”

All hooks revolved around study tips, none of them were clicking.

But things turned around in July, when one video finally broke through.

Same style of hook, but this slideshow used Pinterest photos to show a list of different tips:

“The most overpowered study methods” -> 1.7M views

However, the video doesn’t seem to be completely organic.

They kept using the Pinterest-style slideshow until November, but the format never scaled.

The later videos got almost no views, and the July spike ended up being a one-time moment.
