Travel Apps Are Copy-Pasting Their Way to Millions of Views

This travel app reached 1.4M views with just 10 German creators and another 750K from 200 English videos.

They only started posting on Nov 28 and are slowly ramping up, but they are already seeing solid results.

The best performing format, similar to apps like Tryp and Triips, is a shocked reaction paired with a direct showcase of the map app on desktop.

They are also copying formats we have been seeing a lot lately, like the “$X trip to X location” hook, moving from a shocked face to simply showing the deal on screen with the AI chat on the left.

Another popular hook is the “I only travel once a year” angle.

This hook was also used by the travel app Tryp.

Overall, it looks like these travel formats are being reused by all the apps at the same time, as they battle to take over more space on TikTok.
