It’s free to download, but the core feature, blocking and unlocking with reps, is behind a premium subscription.
In the last 30 days, it jumped from about 20K downloads and near 0 revenue to about 100K downloads and roughly $10K MRR.
That jump came from one founder led playbook that’s now going viral across multiple platforms.
He posts as @the.pushupperson, and with just one account per platform, he reached 55M views.
Here’s how he took off on Instagram and pulled over 45M views.
- Format: Show the app, do push ups, then unlock it.
- Hook: Do push ups to unlock the “X” app.
The biggest winner was Clash Royale.
“Pov: You have to do Push-ups to unlock Clash Royale” got 2.3M views on September 20, then 2.6M views again on October 19.
A few months later, he popped again with a small hook twist.
“Clash Royale is locked until he does 10 push-ups” got 3.4M views on November 8.
He ran the same idea with TikTok too.
“Can’t open TikTok unless I do push-ups” got 5.8M views on September 26.
Then in December, he found an even stronger angle.
- Format: Confused selfie, then a quick app demo.
- Hook: “son WHO made dis [app]”
“son WHO made dis” got 23.6M views on December 5.
And 6.1M views just 10 days later with the exact same strategy.
On TikTok and YouTube, he leaned into meme relatability.

And “pov: you have to do 67 push-ups to unlock TikTok” got 2.5M views on TikTok. (6 7 meme).
