We looked at 40 AI slideshow Amazon seller and re-seller accounts. Together they pulled in 252 million views across 5,533 videos.
They have been posting since September 2023 all the way to today.
Here is what stood out:
They post in many niches, but the same few keep showing up:
- Hair products
- Probiotics
- Petcare products
And for some reason, showerheads.
One hilarious slideshow that is supposed to promote a hair product is actually promoting a showerhead.
With comments that cannot possibly be real…

That video is old, but there are newer ones. For example, this one posted on 9/11 that hit 14.2 million views.
It is simply an ad for a supplement.
Another “what is going on” example is a pet supplement video that did 2.5 million views and 45,000 comments. The ratio is insane.
Most videos are not that crazy. Many are simple weight loss stories.
Or eating better food.
The “my husband is a surgeon” ones do well very often too.
These videos are made in bulk and pushed through many accounts, probably using some form of automation.
It is usually the same stories running over and over.
It is pure brain-rot made for a specific audience that keeps watching these formats nonstop.
You can see the same templates being used again and again if you check the usual hook table.
They reached 292.8 million views across 5,533 videos, and that is only from the 40 accounts I sampled.
If there are 40 accounts posting daily, there could easily be 400 or even 4,000 doing the same thing.
That means billions of total views.
It is also an outlier game. One percent of the videos generated 61.6% of all views. And as we know, the best converting videos usually land between 250,000 and 1 million views.
People often say these formats do not convert.
But it is hard to imagine someone posting for months across so many accounts if nothing was working. They hit a specific audience and somehow it works.
What many people miss is the complete economics.
This strategy is about huge view numbers and an extremely low cost of creating and posting videos.
Even if the conversion rate is lower than other styles, it works because of the scale. And that is totally fine. It is simply a different strategy built in a different way.
