Iori Flashcards is blowing up on FrenchTok thanks to simple, effective street interview skits.

Their promise is bold: “Learn any language in 30 days.”

Right now the app is ranked around #15 in Education in France and ranks high in the charts of many other French speaking countries.

They only run five accounts, and all of them post street interviews in French.

Here are the street interview ideas that worked for them.

The first one is the language surprise format.

The interviewer asks people on the street where they are from and what language they speak. Then he suddenly switches to their language, speaking it fluently, and slides in that he learned it in just 30 days with Iori.

One of these videos was posted on October 22 and reached 1.6M views.

A video with the same strategy did 650K views on another account.

The second one is the “guess the app” format.

The interviewer does a street interview where the stranger describes an app from their phone. They talk about the key features and the fun benefits.

At the end they reveal the name of the app, which is Iori.

The third one is the money for languages challenge.

The interviewer says to a stranger:

I will give you 10€ for each language you speak.”

The “stranger” then shocks him by speaking more than 15 languages. The interviewer asks how he learned them, and the stranger gives the promo for the app, saying he learned them all with Iori.

With these street interview skit formats, Iori has grown to about 200K downloads and around $10K MRR in the last 30 days.

All their content is in French right now.

If they launch the same kind of content in English, they could reach an even bigger audience.
