100M Views in 90 Days With One Viral Format

November 26 marks 90 days since ProactorAI launched on the App Store.

After a pretty dead October, they turned things around and pulled 20,000 downloads in the last 30 days.

Today, they sit in the top 100 in many Francophone countries.

But it really did not start like this.

Proactor has now generated over 100 million views across 20 creator driven accounts. Ambassadors run accounts on multiple platforms and post daily videos.

Around 90 million of those views came from one single format.

Back in August, right around launch, they went properly viral for the first time, when creator @chloe.annee1 posted a job interview skit that completely blew up.

The video shows a girl in an online job interview, using an app to get live notes on how she should answer each question, so she can read them in real time.

Save my bestie in her interview” -> 15.3M views

Around the same time, @hackwithsim locked in the same format and went viral four times in a row with the exact same strategy, reaping 22 million views across those videos.

Three of those videos had the exact same hook as the original, and 1 had a small twist:

Saving my bestie in her PIP meeting -> 4.9M views

Then this creator hit extreme virality on Instagram too, in October:

Saving my bestie in her feedback meeting -> 17.9M views

The latest big spike came from @gwenlifehacks on Instagram.

She found a winning hook alternative for the same core format:

Not even Jesus can save me now” -> 31.9M views on November 2

These occasional huge hits were good for reach, but they were not enough to build a strong user base.

So they hired their first UGC French ambassador, @ia_with_fafaa. Fafa picked up traction fast, and is the main reason why the app is now taking off in French-speaking countries.

She is going viral by filming herself rating 5 different AI apps and models for students.

She is also easy to recognize on French StudyTok as a law student with 284K followers on her personal account.

In the beginning of November, she blew up with this format and by ranking Proactor in 1st place.

Ranking the best AI’s for students” -> 1.3M views and 70K saves on November 6

At the end of November, she went viral again.

This time she put the app in 3rd place to make the video feel more like a real recommendation and less like an ad.

Ranking the best AI’s for students” -> 1.5M views and 77K saves on November 24

ProactorAI shows how important it is to keep innovating on format and niche in a fast moving short form content meta. Almost 90M of their 100M+ views came from one “save my bestie” idea, recycled by a handful of creators across TikTok and Instagram.

Actual growth only kicked in when a trusted French law student on StudyTok started ranking AI tools in French and kept putting Proactor near the top.

It proved for them that one trusted local UGC channel can beat any global viral spike.
