The Format Behind Deepstash’s 108M Views

Learning apps keep popping up, but Deepstash, launched in 2013, still stands out from the crowd and is now finally starting to get noticed on TikTok.

The app is running four accounts and has generated a total of 108.1 million views. The founder’s account stands out in views, with most videos following the same easy formula: a quick intro featuring him followed by a demo of the app.

One video stands out. It’s an edit of his other clips, put together to highlight the app, that picked up over 24 million views (slightly boosted).

Most of the comments on the video focus on how much the app costs.

Interestingly, he posted the same video more than once, using the exact same hook, but the engagement rate changed a lot from month to month.

The official app account shared a faceless image sequence video, with the exact same hook, and pulled another 5.4 million views.
