In October, a spicy date ideas app for couples had almost no downloads or revenue. Fast forward to mid-November, and they hit 20K downloads and $7K in MRR.

Shamelesss uses a simple freemium model with three bold subscription tiers: $5.99 per week, $19.99 per month, and $55.90 per year.
All of them usually kick in after a 3 day free trial that is designed to turn impulse downloads into paying subscribers.
Currently, Shamelesss is sitting in the top 100 in almost every country in Europe, with its best position being #8 in Slovenia.
Just in October, they weren’t even in the top 500 in most of those markets.
The entire growth playbook is TikTok only.
So far, Shamelesss has collected 5M views, 167K shares and 43K saves on TikTok.
They run ten low cost, faceless accounts that post only slideshow content.
All the accounts share erotic content that leans into Gen Z girls who might want to use the app with their boyfriend.
Here’s an example:
The account @coupletok10 hit 291K views and almost 4K saves with a slideshow titled “Clean Romance“, on November 9th.
It is a 3 slide slideshow with aesthetic images of a clean romance, a sports romance, and finally, a dark romance.
On the dark romance slide, they sneak in images of app features.
On November 13, @lunartthoughts posted a different type of slideshow that got 300K views.
It has only 2 slides. It feels romantic, but something feels slightly off.
On the side of the couple’s photo, you can see a phone screen showing one of the app’s features, a sexual position. That small, intentional detail made a lot of people comment to ask about the app.
It is a great mix of romance and erotic tension, while still showing an app feature and using the Christmas season trend.

Across all accounts, their slideshows are getting a crazy number of shares compared to views.
Most of the hooks are short and not directly related to the app. For instance, my top 5 favorite sports hit 309K views on October 25.
