We found three new gym tracking apps, all released in less than three months, with the newest one released only 41 days ago.
These are LFTR, Gymeo and Odyssey.
We found four accounts, with three of them linked to Gymeo and Odyssey. They publish Pinterest and AI generated slideshow listicles. Here is the type of slideshows they post.
These slideshows use AI generated images and are pushed out in large volumes. The numbers on these three accounts are strong.
They repeat the same hooks often. A few openings perform much better than others, like “muscles i” or “train harder.” These work differently compared to the usual “3 tip…” type of listicle openers.
You can find all their best hooks here.
This listicle style usually needs a lot more views. If you share six tips and only one mentions your app then you get about one sixth of the conversion rate. But the upside is that this broad content can pull in six times more views.
Many apps like this are showing up now. They are often clones of Lyfta or other gym trackers.
It feels similar to when new Gen Z developers start building apps and pick a gym planner as their first project, the same way many pick a simple to do list as their starter idea.
