Fitness Screen Time Hits $36K MRR

Pushscroll is an app that trades pushups for scrolling time.

It unlocks minutes of scrolling through quick sets like push-ups and squats.

It is a 3-in-1 -> exercise-based app timer, smart app blocker, and gamified fitness in one place.

Launched in June, it has suddenly spiked in the last 30 days:

  • 30K downloads and $30K MRR on the App Store.
  • 100K downloads and $6K MRR on Google Play.

The app works with a subscription that includes a 7-day free trial which renews automatically.

You’ll need a subscription to access the main features, for the price of €9.99 per month or €30.99 per year.

The founder is Alejandro Sanchez, known as @skyirezumi on every platform.

He has started multiple startups and went viral with founder-led videos.

He also shares his journey on X.

The growth playbook is TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

They run 12 accounts that have pulled in over 37M views, with about 95% of views coming from his founder-led accounts.

There are two pillars.

First, the founder account, @skyirezumi, posting punchy videos across platforms.

Second, the official Pushscroll Instagram, which reposts influencer videos originally made on TikTok.

That page has not gone truly viral yet, but posts with bigger creators sometimes hit solid viewership.

But the real engine is still the founder’s content.

On YouTube, he went viral twice with push-up skits that demo the app.

He doomscrolls, gets locked, then does push-ups to add minutes, showing the core feature in just a few seconds.

On Instagram, one format exploded in September. Two near identical videos with sharp hooks and a direct CTA. Comment “APP,” get a DM, convert.

Bro is doing pushups to unlock insta” -> 6.8M views + 6.5M views

On TikTok, he has not hit massive virality yet, but he is building a founder storyline, documenting the struggles and the build. It strengthens the app’s identity.

With Pushscroll, Alejandro shows how a founder can drive about 95% of 37M views by shipping one native demo per social media platform.

Founder feed plus brand reposts, with strict repurposing.

That focus turned a June launch into $36K MRR with minimal spend.

Ship the demo that sells itself, keep it founder-led until the brand page starts to hit, then scale creators around the proven format.
